Change management
AI doesn't fail because of the AI. We fix both halves.
We design, build, and integrate AI into your business — and we run the Prosci®-certified change program that gets your team to actually use it. Most consultants do one half. Our team of engineers, AI practitioners, and Prosci®-certified change consultants does both — tailored to your team and your tools.
- 95%
- of GenAI pilots fail to deliver measurable value(MIT, 2025)
- 7×

What "full-service" actually means
Both halves of an AI rollout — under one engagement.
Most AI consultants pick a lane. The technical shops build the workflow and disappear once it's deployed. The change management shops produce decks and never touch the system. Magentic does both — because the gap between them is where 95% of AI projects die.
Every Magentic engagement covers the full arc: strategy, build, integration, rollout, change, and reinforcement. Your team gets one accountable partner for the whole journey, not three vendors blaming each other when adoption stalls.
- Strategy
AI opportunity assessment + 90-day roadmap, ranked by ROI.
- Build
We design and build the AI workflows, agents, and automations — hands-on, not handed off offshore.
- Integration
Wired into your existing stack: CRM, ticketing, document systems, ERP, whatever you already run.
- Rollout
Phased deployment to pilot cohorts first, then scaled — sequenced to your business calendar.
- Change Management
Prosci®-ADKAR program tailored to your culture, your roles, and your adoption blockers.
- Reinforcement
30/60/90 dashboards, manager check-ins, and retainer support so the change sticks.
Each step is scoped to your tier — Spark, Orbit, or Launch. We don't force enterprise process on a 20-person firm, and we don't shortchange a 500-person rollout.
The AI is the easy part.
Most AI consultants ship a tool and call it a transformation. But a tool that nobody uses isn't a transformation — it's a line item on next year's software audit.
Change management is the work of making sure the people, processes, and incentives are actually ready for the new way of working. It's the 95% gap most consultants skip. It's why Magentic exists.
How we do it: Prosci®-ADKAR, applied to AI.
Prosci®-ADKAR — the gold-standard 5-step framework for change management: Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability, Reinforcement. Here's what it looks like when you apply it to an AI rollout.
Prosci®-ADKAR step: Awareness
AwarenessWhy this change is happening, in their words. If your team doesn't know why you're rolling out AI, they'll assume it's to replace them. Awareness is the first lever.
Prosci®-ADKAR step: Desire
DesireWhat's in it for them, individually. Adoption isn't compliance. People have to want the new way. We design the WIIFM into every rollout.
Prosci®-ADKAR step: Knowledge
KnowledgeHow to actually use the tools. Training that's specific to their workflow, not a generic prompt course. Sandbox time, paired sessions, peer champions.
Prosci®-ADKAR step: Ability
AbilityDoing it in real conditions, not in training. We measure ability the only way that matters: are people using it on real work, unsupervised?
Prosci®-ADKAR step: Reinforcement
ReinforcementMaking the change stick. 30/60/90 dashboards, manager check-ins, peer recognition. Without reinforcement, every rollout regresses.
We build the engagement around your business — not the other way around.
Same methodology. Different intensity. Here's how a Magentic engagement adapts based on your scale.
- Engagement style
- Lean, founder-direct, fast-cycle
- Build approach
- 1–3 high-ROI workflows, productized scope, low overhead
- Integration depth
- Lightweight — ChatGPT, Claude, n8n, Zapier into your existing tools
- Change program
- Whole-team rollout, single cohort, manager-led reinforcement
- Typical timeline
- 2–8 weeks
- Tier
- Spark or Orbit
- Engagement style
- Cross-functional, sponsor-led, multi-stakeholder
- Build approach
- Multi-workflow program with phased delivery, pilot then scale
- Integration depth
- Medium — into core systems (CRM, ticketing, document mgmt) with proper auth and logging
- Change program
- Department-by-department rollout, change network, peer champions
- Typical timeline
- 6 weeks – 3 months
- Tier
- Orbit or Launch
- Engagement style
- Multi-phase, governance-heavy, executive-sponsored
- Build approach
- AI architecture work, agent design (Anthropic-aligned), secure integration patterns

- Change program
- Multi-cohort rollout, executive sponsorship structure, formal training curriculum, Prosci®-ADKAR at every level
- Typical timeline
- 3–12 months
- Tier

"The methodology is the same. The shape of the engagement isn't. We've sat on both sides of a 100,000-person Apple rollout and a 12-person professional services firm pilot — they don't get the same playbook."
What this looks like in practice
On a typical Magentic engagement, week one isn't building. It's listening. We sit with the people whose work is about to change, watch how they actually do it, and map the friction points before a single prompt is written.
Weeks two through four of an Orbit engagement run a Prosci®-ADKAR map against the workflow, recruit a pilot cohort of 5–8 people, train their managers first, and stand up a private sandbox. Only then do we ship anything into the real workflow.
"The fastest path to AI adoption is not the fastest tool. It's the slowest week of listening."
By week 8, the workflow is live AND the team is using it. Both, not just one. That's the bar.
You should care about change management if…
- ✓You've shipped tools your team didn't adopt
- ✓Your last AI pilot quietly died
- ✓Your team is anxious about AI replacing them
- ✓You can't tell if your AI investment is paying off
- ✓You're planning a real AI rollout — and you want one partner accountable for the whole thing, not three vendors blaming each other.
